About This Cause

P. R. Misra is a fourth-generation believer from Odisha, India. He accepted Christ as his Savior during college. He served as an Assistant Professor of English Literature and college chaplain at Patkai Christian College in Nagaland for seven years. P. R. immigrated to Canada in 1985, working at the Indian Embassy and later the Toronto International Airport. Feeling disillusioned, he began seeking the Lord’s will for his life, which in a dramatic way led him to work for Christian Aid Mission. There he learned about the critical concept of native missions and why it is needed in the present context of the world. He returned to India to marry Anju, his fiancé of two years. They joined Advancing Native Missions in 1994. After serving in various capacities, he is now the President of International Operations. P. R. is blessed to use his skills to encourage the native missionaries connected to ANM around the world. He and Anju have two daughters: Richa, who lives in Vancouver, Canada, and Reshma, who lives with her husband in Dubai, UAE.
