About This Cause

Pete began his personal relationship with Jesus at 16 in the Philippines. Later, Pete left the pursuit of a medical degree to attend Doane Baptist Seminary, where he met his wife, Melody, and finished his theology degree. In 1986 Pete was ordained. He and Melody were commissioned as missionaries to Thailand, where they served for ten years, planting churches and teaching at the Rom Phrakhun Bible Institute. Pete also took graduate courses in missiology. They moved to the US in 1999 to pastor and plant churches. In January of 2013, Pete and Melody came to Advancing Native Missions, where Pete serves as director for Southeast Asia.

ANM staff members serve by faith, receiving some or all of their salary (depending on role) because of donations from generous supporters like you. Thank you for helping us serve!
