About This Cause
Slavko Hadzic grew up in a communist family and worked for the Mafia at one point. He came to Christ as a refugee during the Balkan War in 1995 when his daughter was miraculously healed. After attending a Bible school, he and his family moved to the Bosnian capital Sarajevo in 2003 to plant a new church. Slavko’s congregation of 80 is one of the largest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their church and ministry focuses on conducting evangelistic outreach, participating in humanitarian work, and running Christian summer camps. Approximately 45% of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s population is Muslim, with only 0.02% evangelical believers. Evangelical Church of Sarajevo hopes to change this through the power and love of Jesus.
