About This Cause
After moving to the United States to provide a better life for their 3 sons, Kodjo and Abla Bossou promised God that they would someday resume ministry in their homeland Togo. African Kids Evangelism Ministry was started in 2015 to keep that promise. Their vision is to spread the gospel of Jesus in Togo through education, church planting, and putting God’s love into action, while providing for basic physical needs by supplying safe drinking water, clothing, medicine, and medical clinics. African Kids Evangelism Ministry trusts God’s Word in Proverbs 22:6: “Bring up a child in the way of the Lord and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Since its foundation, African Kids Evangelism Ministry has established a school of 1,000 children and a church of 250 near the capital of Togo, Lomé. The school also offers adult vocational training program, which teach practical and employable skills such as sewing and computer literacy. In addition to all of this, the ministry has established a church in a predominately Muslim region north of Lomé. They have already completed building a church building and a home for the church’s pastor. They hope these facilities will help them to effectively bring Christ’s love to this highly unreached people group.
Kodjo and Abla have seen God do great things through African Kids Evangelism Ministry as they diligently work to serve their brothers and sisters in Togo.
