Two International Perspectives on Race

The sinfulness of humanity displays itself in many ways. Every day we see in others (and if we are honest, see in ourselves) the attempts to rule our world, be our own god, and suppress the truth that there is only one being that is really in control.  It began with Adam’s fall, and ever since then the sins we commit continue to betray the motives of a heart that wants to exalt self over God.

Racism is a form of this desire to exalt myself. In this episode, to get some international perspectives on race, I sat down with two of my co-workers at ANM who grew up outside the United States. They both experienced racism and prejudice in their country of origin. Here’s our conversation.
