T. L. Angam: Comforted so We Can Comfort
By Joel Maas
Paul, writing to the church in Corinth, said this about comfort and suffering:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too (2 Corinthians 1:3–5).
T. L. Angam, my guest in the studio for our new podcast episode has experienced affliction over the course of his life, but he has a heart to comfort others in their affliction, and to “share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings” by taking the Gospel, sometimes at great cost, to those in his region of the world who have not yet heard.
I sat down with him to hear his story and learn what God is doing in his life today. Enjoy, and if you appreciate the conversation, subscribe to the Advancing Native Missions Podcast.
