Discovering God’s Heart for Refugees

Today’s episode is a brief but important conversation I had with Oliver Asher, president of ANM, about our refugee focus this month, leading up to Refugee Sunday on June 24. We want to spread the word that, as Deuteronomy 10:18 says, “God loves the foreigner, the stranger, the sojourner, the refugee.”

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees counted 65.6 million displaced persons worldwide in June 2017. That includes both refugees, defined as those forced to leave their country, and internally displaced persons, who have been forced out of their homes but remain within their country.

Thanks for listening, and be sure to visit our Refugee page for resources to help you, your small group, and your church discover God’s heart for refugees.
