The Far East

A Christian Perspective on What’s Happening in North Korea

For the past 70 years, to live as a Christian in North Korea has been extremely difficult. Persecution, prison, and death await those who confess Christ, or dare to share their faith with others. I recently talked with Dan Reichard, ANM’s Far East director, who has spent many years learning about North Korea’s Christians, praying for them, visiting the region, and supporting organizations letting believers there know that they are not forgotten. We talked about the history of the Korean peninsula, the current difficulties for Christians there, as well as a world-wide group of believers who are preparing for the day when North Korea’s current regime will fall.
