About This Cause

Most people in the remote areas of Cambodia are very poor and have very little access to education, so they are stuck in a cycle of poverty. The children are at risk—some become child beggars, others child laborers, and some, as they grow older, end up in jobs selling their bodies just to be able to put food on the table. Evangelical Mission Association‘s children’s home was established to provide orphans, street children, homeless children, and other vulnerable children with a safe shelter to live, three meals a day, medication, access to education, school supplies, uniforms, and other needs. These children, once at risk, not have only their physical needs met, but most importantly, they experience God’s love and learn about the Good News of Jesus. They are growing up to become followers of Jesus, agents in God’s kingdom.
