One of ANM’s greatest joys is to encourage members of the Body of Christ to use their gifts and talents for God’s glory and specifically to advocate on behalf of native missionaries and children. Artist Hannah Swan came to us wanting to volunteer in some way. We talked with her, witnessed her passion for helping children and her passion for painting, and asked if she would be willing to create a set of paintings representing the children around the world whom our ministry partners help as well as those children who have yet to hear the name of Jesus. Hannah did beautiful work, and these paintings very appropriately now hang in our Next Generation department office.
We’ve dreamed since then about how we could make these beautiful paintings a reminder for people that children around the world need to be prayed for, loved, and discipled. Thus the card project was born. Each painting was made into a card, and the proceeds from the sale of packs of these cards will go to ANM’s Where Most Needed fund for children’s needs.
The pack includes seven cards, each featuring a child from one of the regions where our ministry partners serve. Hannah’s inspiration for these pictures was photographs we have received or ones that staff members have taken while on their travels to visit these ministries. The cards are blank on the inside so you can send them to your friends with your own message of love and care. On the back is an explanation of how these cards are helping children around the world.
