Africa is a continent with more than half of its people under the age of 18. It is vital to reach Africa’s young people with the Gospel to help turn the continent to believe in Jesus. Lou Mancari, Regional Director for Africa at Advancing Native Missions, is asking us to pray for Africa during this time of unrest in the world. Here are three ways you can pray and make a difference in Africa.
3 Ways to Pray for Africa:
- Pray for salaries for teachers and funds for schools in order to reach the children of Africa with the Gospel. Reaching the children with the Gospel is an avenue into the homes of their families with the Christian message. The schools are a strategic way to spread the Gospel in Africa.
- Pray for the crisis in Ethiopia. The civil war in Ethiopia has been devastating. There is a need for food and safety for the people of Ethiopia. The people need peace instead of civil unrest.
- Pray for the many missionaries we support who are establishing self-sustainable businesses to support their ministry and their family. Please pray that the variety of businesses will be profitable for the missionary families so they can continue to do the work God has called them to do. The self-sustaining businesses give them a doorway into the homes and lives of people who desperately need the Gospel. Please pray that the businesses will flourish.
An effective means of seeing the Kingdom of God advance in Africa is to pray for Africa. You can be a part of spreading the Gospel in Africa! Many will not be reached with the Good News of salvation without your prayer support. With gratitude, Lou shared, “Thank you so much for this vital partnership and prayer. God bless you.”
